Our History
We are a small Independent Charity. As such we rely on public donations, funding from larger charity bodies and the small amount of revenue garnered from the agencies that cover the clients we work with on a weekly basis. We have recently made the transition into becoming a charity, previously we operated as a Social Enterprise (a non-profit business) and began in the late 2000s as a sole trader. We have moved around a lot for one reason or another, but are currently settled with a long term lease on site on Buchanan Place East.
Our aims
The reason we work with the types of people we do is because we feel that everyone regardless of age, gender, lifestyle or background who makes mistakes or needs a little extra help deserves a chance. If you want the opportunity to do learn a trade or just do a day's honest work, you can do that securely in the knowledge that you are in a non-judgemental environment, past mistakes are left at the door and you will be measured by your effort and desire to try something and stuck into a task.
